Fasteners

Refer to AS3566 Class 3 and Class 4.
Fasteners used should be BlueScope Lysaght approved. The fasteners below are suitable for fixing structural steel frames together, as specified below.

• 10-16X16 WAF mm self drilling screws : Flush fixing screw where flush surface finish is required, e.g. Plasterboard^® corner angles.
• 10-16X16 HEX mm self drilling screws : General non-structural fixing screw. Uses: wall connectors, roof battens etc.
• 12-14X20 HEX mm self drilling screws : Structural fixing screw, tiles roof truss fixing, girder/truss heel bracket fixing, roof battens.

The heart of LYSAGHT SMARTRUSS^® is the patented steel truss which is computer designed and manufactured.
The computer system does everything from designing the framing, to supplying the documentation.
Supported by LYSAGHT SUPRACADD^® - detailing software which models the geometry-designs the roof trusses and facilitates manufacture by licensed fabricators.
